Shipping & Delivery
We deliver books in Australia and throughout the world at reasonable cost to our customers. It is not our intention to profit from freight charges - these are calculated at average cost.
Within Australia we offer a flat rate of AU$8.80 per parcel. Express Post is available for urgent deliveries.
International options include Airmail, International Courier, and Bulk Mailbag. Delivery times are approximate and normally parcels are delivered within the time quoted. Please feel free to ask us for a postage quote. Orders placed by internet are accompanied by shipping cost estimates based on average weight. However, we reserve the right to recalculate postage rates at cost for heavy items or multi-volume sets and journals.
Insurance is available within Australia and to most countries with most methods of shipment. We recommend insurance for high-value items or to countries which have unreliable postal services.
We appreciate the additional cost of shipping when ordering books by mail order. To assist in minimising postage costs Asia Bookroom offers a
consolidation service, whereby we send your purchased books once they have reached a nominated weight or quantity, or every 3 months, whichever is reached first. This is a flexible arrangement which can be altered at any time. Please
