| Hon Bob McMullan Launches NTA's East Indonesia Aid's 200 Tanks Campaign
NTA East Indonesia Aid is the NGO who receives the gold coin donation collected at Asia Bookroom's talks. You may have wondered who NTA are and what exactly they do? NTA East Indonesia Aid is a Canberra-based NGO that funds and manages basic poverty alleviation projects in Eastern Indonesia (Nusantenggara Province)in drinking water, agriculture and education. With its very low overhead costs (managed by volunteers) the NTA is able to spend 90% or more of its funds on actual development projects. The Hon Bob McMullan, Parliamentary Secretary for International Development Assistance will launch a special NTA campaign - the 200 Tanks Campaign at this function. The CEO of the NTA, Dr Colin Barlow will also report on recent developments in the field.
