CBCA Shortlisted Children's Author, Sandy Fussell, Speaks at Asia Bookroom 6pm August 6th

Join us for what is sure to be an interesting evening on Thursday August 6th when Australian author Sandy Fussell will talk about researching and writing her increasingly popular "Samurai Kids" series of novels, set in Japan, with the latest - "Monkey Fist" - set in China.

Sandy's novel "Polar Boy" has also been shortlisted for the 2009 Children's Book Council of Australia Book of the Year.

Anyone interested in children's literature, teachers and parents of children aged 9-14, as well as children in this age group, whether familiar with her books or not, will be fascinated by her talk.

Admission by gold coin donation.
All money raised will go towards the excellent work done by NTA East Indonesia Aid
